LA/OC Chapter Meeting

The featured speaker for this event was the intrepid Linda Miller ’83, whom in 1994 formed Linda Miller Construction and Engineering, Inc. Linda brought along her employees (all Mudders!) and they sat dutifully and enthusiastically clad in Bora Bora garb (Linda’s hobby is to go to Bora Bora) while their boss showed slides and discussed the history of building her impressive business. The presentation was followed by a question and answer period about where Linda and her crew intend to go next (in business, not island-hopping).
As at all of these HMCEN meetings, there was plenty of great food to eat and beverages to satisfy every taste. After Linda’s spirited talk the whole crowd moved back to the courtyard where everyone stayed until the hotel staff threw us out with warnings that if we were to ever come back again, next time we would have to leave on time.
